Yesterday marked a landmark moment in my life. For the first time in my life I got sea-sick, which happened on the boat ride to Catalina Island. The family once attempted the trip to this lovely getaway in the 90s but dad ended up in the hospital the night before we went. Moral of the story, Catalina makes people sick, but if you can get beyond that intial journey, it's lovely.
